Great day to get back on the bike for a decent cycle. Took a while negotiating the many roadworks between here at Te Atatu and Onehunga, in the car, but when we got there and dismantled the bikes, it was worth it.
Aint nothing like a guilt-free pie at the end of a good cycle trip.
Had a cycle on the new motorway, in pristine black condition, before the wear and tear got to it. Very pleasant hanging out with so many cyclists of every variety and size. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YROi6mMVTR4
We started out a small group of women in Te Atatu, Auckland, New Zealand, recently determined to return to the art of 'slow cycling' and the joys of getting places in style on two wheels. The group now includes the odd man, who is, of course, a 'handlebro'. This is a record of our ongoing adventures.
